Derrick Daniels
Derrick Daniels is a dedicated school support professional with more than 25 years of experience serving students and families through the New York City Department of Education. Throughout his career, he has worked in a wide range of school and community-based programs, including Montefiore After-School Programs, Children’s Aid Society, SCAN New York, the Dominican Progress Association, and New Rochelle High School.
With over 20 years of experience as school support staff, Derrick has held various roles in school operations and direct student support. His work centers on building strong, positive relationships with students, families, educators, and community partners. He has developed a strong network of businesses, colleges, community organizations, and artists to help enrich school curriculum through meaningful exposure to culture, mentoring, and positive behavior promotion.
Derrick is deeply committed to supporting adolescents by creating safe, engaging, and supportive learning environments that promote responsibility, respect, and personal growth. His extensive experience and community connections make him a strong asset to any school community.
